Re: oil cooler
If your engine coolant is running at 275*, you have bigger things to worry about than it heating up your oil! The reason they do that is the exact reason we were just talking about, the coolant will keep the oil from getting too cold like it can with an external. The thermostat approach shown above is an excellent alternative.
