I have been on the fence... Those people out there who are COD4 fans would you recommend buying it? I dont really feel like spending $65 on something thats just ok. I will buy something else that is certain to be good like little big planet.

ive played it and loved it, and i was huge into COD 4, the Zombie mode is hella cool!

i like the weapon diversity, dogs instead of choppers is awesome, maps are great, and vehicles are a nice addition to.

I can't wait to try out the zombie mode. From what I hear it is pretty fun. Just gotta push myself threw the single player story. These games are multi player games not single player. Oh well..

Two questions for ya...

1) I know you have a PS3, what do you think of the game? In comparison to COD4?

2) Do you have to beat the single player game to unlock zombie mode or something?

In comparison to to COD4, the graphics are worse, game play is pretty much the same, levels are better and bigger (online), co-op online now, same perks and leveling up, you can still prestige but prestiging actually has rewards now, as in opening more perk slots or something. To me, COD4 feels better, more refined, near perfect. COD5 feels a little sloppier. I have to say, COD5 has some more detail, like a grenade kill shows your limbs blowing off... Thats my thoughts.

Hmmm.... I have read very mixed reviews all over the internet. I am definitely going to have to rent this one.

My roomate bought it the other day. I never played COD4 though, but so far I'm liking the game. It's keeping me away from halo for now, which is a good thing..

If you liked CoD4 but prefer WWII shooters, or just miss things like bolt action rifles and tanks, then CoD5 is worth buying. I suspect that people who could care less about the fact that its a WWII shooter wont like it any better than CoD4.
For me, I like the WWII setting and the zombies.
