Knowing what things like a P28 is, how to tell OBD2-A from OBD2-B, why working on Nissan's suck so much, why not to mod a VW, how to make VTEC work on a car with no VTEC wiring and non-VTEC ECU, why you can't just wire an AFC into a 3G Eclipse, etc might be nice. They don't have to know a lot about this stuff, just be able to do the normal stuff correctly and very importantly cleanly and not ghettostyle, no shortcuts."

I wasn't referring to the days you would have to work. I'll try to relax more though thanks... (see link below to what i was referring to) no hard feelings.

Sounds like me, cept for the wide knowledge of certain things. A year of auto tech and all.

I got 2 friend graduated Wyotech, one at top of class, but they are american muscle and are to narrow minded. If you are looking for reg mechanic.

O/T - Is there still a market for these jobs and what is usual pay?
