Shit that is dirt cheap, did you buy that directly from FP's site?

Re: Megan Racing S.S. Headers

I called them and asked if they still had the sale going on. There is a set number they are selling at that price, and I didn't call soon enough for the coated ones, they sold out.

I'd call to see if they have any left.

Alright, thanks man. How much more where the coated ones, do you know?

Re: Megan Racing S.S. Headers

$235 I think they were, only $60 extra compared to the normal $100 cost. I just left mine uncoated for now, maybe get it done in the future.

I would for sure get it coated before installing it. Totally worth it, keeps them looking so much cleaner, helps reduce engine bay temps, and obviously will flow better.

Why will it flow better?
I thought they only coated the outside, I dont see how that makes air flow better.

Re: Megan Racing S.S. Headers

It is like putting a wrap around a header. The exhaust gasses stay hotter and there for they can travel faster.

Re: Megan Racing S.S. Headers

I might have been under the wrong assumption. I thought that coating the outside had a similar effect as wrapping it. Makes sense I guess that you would need to do the inside...
