Wrong. Do a search on "smart airbags" once. Many do not deploy if the seatbelt is not worn. These were mandated in 2005.

That is just a shitty situation. It's nice to see the owner is willing to do something to help her, but at the same time I can understand the lady not wanting him to ever touch another one of her cars. If it were me, I think I would have taken his offer.

Wow, I'd like to know what they hit to cause that kind of damage. It almost looks like they jumped a curb or something, but none of the wheels are bent. Broken yes, but not bent, which is what you would expect if they jumped a curb or something. No signs of a hard impact either, and the airbags aren't blown, yet their heads hit the windshield hard enough to break it, and bend the steering wheel.

My guess is that he took a corner to fast, front end started pushing, he panicked and locked up the brakes.

hahaha I have pictures/video's of the first time we all went to ROCKFALLS.

Tyler won in his Class and took home a trophy in his then "Skunk" N/A integra.

Seth had that crazy little Blue Honda Hatch, I had my white 96GS-T, Nash had his Moroon 99GS-T, Moe was probably still working at Speedwerks, driving his then 16G's 1G, Devin had his white civic, Isaac had his Black FWD 1G, Swanny had his 14B Black 1G and drove the piss out of it at the track, John was driving his Galant with I think a 16G, Eric D had his Red 1G, Jason was driving his Black Cavalier, Matt Shelby had his Red 96GS, Steve hill was running 12's, Shane was running 12s, and Mike Bertz blew his 2G AWD motor trying to run 12's I remember it as being the first time anyone tried running 30psi on our cars, OH and Brent Rau was running 9.54@154mph in his then AWD 2G.

And I was hosting Install/Halo parties at my house every weekend.

And we'd meet at Buffalo Wild Wings in Apple Valley Every Tuesday and then cruise afterwards and race down at DCTC.

Other than a group of colleges, no. An old www forum or email list perhaps? I have my own old skool, I was a vw boy back then, and I had other priorities like finishing college, living abroad, etc.

I joined this site about 5 years ago, around the time of these Install/Halo parties. I never took part because I was a dsmstyle newb and had the ridiculous idea that I could do stuff on my own (oh noes!). Before that I was not on style at all and was playing with Matt Janeusch's old 1G back when it had a Haltech and stock MAS (now THAT's oldschool!). And stuffing 3000GT breaks under those skinny stock 1990 16" Eclipse wheels before that. So while I was not here, I've been around plenty long ;)

Old school is a potentiometer on the barometer on the MAS sensor! Then the 5 knob SAFC came out and all was good!

This is way before that, before you found "Drive" hahaha J/K

Still remember my old screenname of "BrnOutKing" and I was asked to be technical support person for a Racing game that got picked up by Walmart, Target, and Best Buy. And they ended up making me the main character in the game. I can't remember the game name. Nash you still have it on your computer?

Something like "Midnight Outlaw Street Racer" if you go to the credits you'll see my name and old screen name.

Also the time when Jake was running 606whp on his camaro. I know Nash was with us when we first raced, who else came out that night?
