Jake probably just needs to step back and do a reality check. This is serious stuff and he needs to step up and be a man. Call the guys. let them know what is going on and get their shit done ASAP. $12k is WAY beyond grand theft, which is a felony charge. I don't think he wants to go there.

Naw I've done some calling around and in my case at least all I can do is get an attourney and spend more money than this thing is worth. What is everybody's deal with him? In my case he o's me 1000cc injectors. I know some guys are out their car plus like $2400, but where is the other 10000 or so?

I think (don't remember 100%) that he talked to me about it at one point. If this was the one I'm thinking of I know I advised to try and settle it off the boards but I would have thought after a bit more time with nothing working it would of came public or sent another PM to an admin.

In the end obviously the site isn't responsible for anything between individual parties and shops, but I no longer want to be apart of covering shit up. I've been on both sides, and both suck.

martin vandapeer gave him 10k for a built dsm, and he never delivered, later martin sued, won, and hasn't seen a dime of his money back.

I personally made the mistake of giving jake 46xx.xx plus my motor

boxxy (eric) gave him 7800 as well as his black/grey 2g dsm, and a shitload of oil and oil filters to break in the new motor, (it has come to my attention that this car MAY be sitting outside of the shop as of right now, if anyone sees it there, please take the time to stop, inspect it, and report back with details as to the condition of the car. PICTURES WOULD BE AMAZING) we know that he stripped the 7 bolt out and sold it already, but we haven't been able to confirm if any work has been completed on the car since then.

J.T. gave him 3500 as well as a recently rebuilt head

if my math does me justice, that should come to over $26000 when you include gas, shipping, and other random stuff.

I think this is just besides the point right now. Generally it's not uncommon to give a new shop a chance to work some magic. In this case there isn't anything we can do now other than offer some help.

And on that note I don't have plans this weekend yet. I'm open to a road trip to see if we can at least get some pics and such, but I'd hope some of the other Winona guys would just run down to the shop and take a few pics.

On a side note it's good to see the step of getting judgement against him has taken place. That should start something if he ever gets another job again if they go for garnishment.

Prairie Island has a nice ass campground. Pitch some tents have a camp fire, some drinking. No one else will be there cause school's going on now.

Ha ha ha. Now that was a funny outing. I awoke the next morning in my bed naked, with a girl (un-named) next to me naked; my head was stuck to the pillow because the back of my ear was bleeding from getting kicked in the head while pounding on someone. I go to the bathroom, look in the mirror and was like "what the fuck?"

We got the best of them though, even though it was just the two of us. My hands hurt the most though, from pounding their little faces in.:boxing:

Anyway, lets go Saturday. I already live in Red Wing, so it not that far from my house.
