Chino Latino's is good.
The Nook for a burger, best in the cities. Granite City has an excellent menu. Texas Roadhouse for steak in Coon Rapids is great. |

There is a seafood buffet my parents love on Central in Col. Heights. I've never been there, but they really like the place(the deal really). Kozlaks does great Lobster and Shrimp. Great steak as well come to think of it. But really, Red Lobster is great for the price. |

Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
Forget papaya salad. Shit's nasty. I'm asian and I don't even touch it. I think its nasty. Reason why people have to go use the bathroom so bad after eating it is b/c the Papaya is actually a Laxative.
But the restaurants I like. In no order. 1. Porterhouse Steak & Seafood. (Very good steak / seafood there.) *Little Canada* 2. TGIF (Good quick meals. Hot waitresses.) *I like the one in Roseville* 3. Chang Mai Thai (Again, good quick meals but they are really good) *Uptown* 4. Stella's. (Also good seafood here) *Uptown* 5. Having my girl cook while I watch TV. *Minneapolis or Little Canada* |

Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
Wow this is insanely hard, but here goes:
#1 absolute favorite: Martini Blu (2nd level of Grand Hotel). Cannot be touched by anything else, BEST sushi and BEST martinis in town! You should all go there and sit at the sushi bar and just ask for chef's choice. Channo and Robi are INSANE they will fill you with food and then get you to drink yourself silly! Absolutely amazing. GO HERE! #2 M&S Grill (6th street I think). Great food of many varieties all around, pull-the-chair-out-for-the-ladies kind of place, but everything from good pasta to burgers on the menu. #3 Mickey's Diner in downtown St. Paul. Nothing can beat this place at 3am when you're drunk and rowdy. No real appetizers except what falls off your neighbor's plate. :) #4 is a mix for me right now: PF Changs, Pei Wei, and Benihana. Can't decide which I like more, each has their own pizaaz, all are good. |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
#1 Biaggi's in Maple Grove - Kick ass Italian, best I have had and I love Italian. Prices are very reasonable. The Lobster Fettucinni is great, as is the Penne Sardi, I haven't had anything bad there. Desserts are kick ass too!
#2 Ichiban's - Spendy, but good food, especially the Chilean Seabass, yum!! They cook it right in front of you and put on a good show on the grill. #3 Capital Grill - Spendy, but great food. Honorable mentions, Acapulco has good mexican and cheap drinks (margarita's by the pitcher), Khahn's mongolian buffet, make it how you like. Bella's in Blaine, Italian place with awesome atmosphere, but food not as good as Biaggi's and costs more. |

I haven't seen anyone mention Sawatdee for thai food.

Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
I forgot my favorite snack of all time. Onion rings at Porky's. I drive over there for lunch at least once a month, mostly just for the rings, their burgers suck.

If you like Benihana or ichiban, try Mt. fuji in Maple Grove. their teppan yaki is the best.

Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
We are actually hitting up Mt Fuji tonight for the first time. We are big Benihana fans, so we will see how it is.

Matty B's Has Pretty good food.
Then there is always Buffalo Wild Wings! |
Re: Your Favorite Twin Cities Restaurants
YOu can't really put places like Buffalo Wild WIngs in the same catergory with some of these places. It's like putting gay man pron in a hottie thread, just doesn't work.
