Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Sounds good so far!

Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Nice numbers Mr. Hill... Are you using AEM or link and what fuel pump are you running?
Its good to see the car out of the garage and "almost" ready for the track! |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Well, it MUST be the EMS to control the 16,000 injectors he has stashed in that car! as for pumps..2 255's?

Its seems like half the DSMs you read about in the high 9s and low 10s are running that 3575. |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
But is it due to high psi or a bad tune with high psi?

Shane would know the timing numbers, I just brought it down to the shop and parked it and drove something with air conditioning home. :cheer: |

I'd say bad tune normally, but some 2.4's have just had cylinder wall cracks from a possible bad casting like Mo's. We set the rev limiter to 8000 for the dyno, but I was running it up as high as 8500 rpm last year. |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Pffff 519 awhp is sooooo 2004. :jackoff:
Nice numbers Steve! It's awesome to see when all that time and effort pays off. |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Congrats Steve, nice setup! that is great power for that dyno, can't wait to see your car again.
For the guy who asked about how long a 2.4 will last - I have over 20,000 miles on my 2.4 that QPR built. I had the head off this past winter for a new headgasket and everything looked nice and fresh. I don't take it over 8,000rpm as I am running a stock intake. I run e85 and 27psi behind a pte 3561. I need to get this thing into Shane's hands. |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Thanks guys, i am looking to do the 2.4 thing again once my 2.0L goes, but it doesn't want to, so i will have fun with it.
Steve gonna test this new tune at CFR next weekend? |

Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Simply awesome! I hope to get near 500whp someday! How's the gas mileage??? j/k but seriously?
Congratulations! |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
try these, you will never have a boost leak problem again and you can run 100+ psi all day without blowing them out. plus they are pretty bling :D so hows the daily driving with that much power, any 4 wheel burnouts??

Steve... Have you tried any hairspray? This helped me last year at over 35psi. |
Re: 519 AWHP- So far....
Re-route it so it doesn't have any extreme bends.
Looks like a fun car. |
