Re: Compression

90 psi will still fire a cylinder off.

When you get into boost you will build more compression. You are packing air into the cyl...

You are serious aren't you?

:JD:

I guarantee that is not his issue. His static compression his low, his effective compression ratio isn't the problem. I've seen dsms run with under 90psi static.

See, this post should have said "Sorry guys, I was drunk when I made that last post and I don't know what I was thinking." Then we would have been like, oh, no biggie. Instead you are leaving us shaking our head at this nonsense. His compression is not the issue, yes he should look at having it rebuilt sometime in the future, but it isn't causing the car to not run right.

Man everyone in here just needs to relax. If someones input or suggestion was wrong in anyway than now they know better. I myself had questions about this that is why I ask. LOL

Back to the situation I took my car into MAP yesterday and did the leak down test. Turns out that the number 2 exhaust valve is leaking. So as of right now the mad scientist kyle is going to be fixing that and the head gasket as well, seeing how it is that it's due for one.

Thanks to everyone who helped with the situation especially Chris and the guys down at map.
