The starter has power from the battery. I tested this with a test light. It is the starter that is NOT getting the signal to turn over via the signal wire but is hooked up for sure. None of that other spark order and shit matters at this point. any ideas now?

try putting in the stock ECU and see if it starts.

or if you have another starter around put it in, I would bet it is the starter or the acctual switch. Did the spyder start before you started the project?

We need to meet up on uni this weekend! At least now you can jump over the side to get in the back seat instead of twisting! Looking good tho. I bought my top on ebay it was a brand new mitsu one that I got for a steal. |

Well I guess this is what I get for letting friends that do not know much about cars try and help me. the ground wire that plugs from one part of the wiring harness that is by the thermostat was not plugged into the other part that goes by the starter. Oh well it is all up and running good now. Thanks guys and sepecially blageo23 for the catch.
