Isnt there some sci fi mixed in though? On the previews it shows some interesting creatures fighting along with them.. or was this my imagination?

those arnt sci fi creatures..lol.. they are people that are deformed, in those ages babies somtime came out deformed do to disease or inbreeding, greeks often killed deformed or diseased babies, and other nations did not. And the other things are ppl that made themselfs like that in respect for their (Godly) King or ruler, and theirs your history 101..lol.. And yes it is a kick ass movie..

well seems to me you always got some smart ass comment to make,im sure im not the only person who has ever told you to shut the hell up, and um last time I checked, I wasnt writing a paper or a book, I was typing on forums, ON A CAR SITE, not a Launguage Arts site, smart guy:loser: .

I saw this movie last night and was impressed; I liked it. The soundtrack was great, there were a few scenes that the perfect music hit at the perfect time.

uhh yeah.... getting back on track about the movie.

i saw it yesterday. it was amazing! the cinematography, the cgi, the action, and like kracka said... great soundtrack! definitely one of the best movies ive seen in a loooong time.

frank miller could do a remake of "the sound of music" and it'd be kick ass :D

I just got back from seeing it. It was a pretty kickass movie, and I completely agree with the LOTR statement above.
