Re: to eBay or not to eBay
Well I spoke TOOOOOOOO soon about the ebay manifolds. I was coming back from getting a bite to eat and I noticed that the car seemed slower and thought o well ill look at it when I get back home which I was on my way. About a mile from my house I herd a loud exhaust leak and thought that it was just the rest of my shitty exhaust manifold gasket burning up which I was going to replace in a few days anyways. I get home and there it was, the manifold had majorly cracked where the turbo bolts onto it and I could see daylight through it. Well lesson learned. I bought it to see howlong it would last and I got a good 10,000 on it and thats about it.

Re: to eBay or not to eBay
I got an OBX racing tubular manifold and it came from E-bay so far so good, the funny thing is when I had the car dyno'd its actually doing it's job, good torque gain. But I do inspect it regularly.

^ As you should.
Just be smart on eBay. Read around. You get what you pay for. |
Re: to eBay or not to eBay
There is another cast T3 manifold out there called the ERL manifold. I hear little bits and pieces about it, but I never find anyone talking about where they get them. Anyone know where to find one? It has a better wastegate setup than the turbonetics one does.

Re: to eBay or not to eBay
There isn't enough room on top for the turbo mounting bolts, so it looks like you have to drill out the threads in the turbo and bolt it up from the bottom. 10 washers for each bolt is included in the kit :D

I have not seen a t3 housing that is threaded.
