You might be able to rent other peoples "race" cars, but you can't just go to Avis and rent a car and run it. You have to own it or have the written permission of the owner to do anything in SCCA. They used to do that for rallycrosses until someone bungled it up.

Was that the old track or the new one? They just changed it about a month ago. 21.4 at the new track is very close to the fastest Knothead racer. The track record for arrive and drive is 22.1, for league it's around 21.2 or 21.3.

The old track I used to get around 20.3-20.6. I love the new track. More technical. More opportunities to pass someone in the corners.

Our league is set up on a 6 week run. You can set it up for 10 weeks also. We do about 2 30 lap races each wednesday nite in burnsville. Ours starts at 6:15. There are 2 other leagues after us.

If anyone wants to get together down on the south end of the cities to run one nite or set up a league later on, post it up or let me know.

The tracks are in Burnsville, Dayton (Maple Grove Area) and Thunder Alley is in Princeton. There might be one more around but not sure. They shut down Blaine a few years ago. That track was awesome!!!!

Damn, I was pretty close. I averaged around a 22.3 and my best was a 22.226. I was surprisingly consistant except for the time some fucker got me stuck in the corner and the attendents didn't figure it out for like 3 minutes, there was a giant ass spike in my graph.

Re: Pro-Kart Times??

I got my first 21.9 on wednesday nite. And someone really went fast at the 200 lap endurance race on thursday morning. 20.6!!!! Of course when you run that many laps with that many karts in a short time, the track gets so sticky and the karts get so warmed up, you can't but get faster times. That's why league is always faster than arrive and drive.

I wouldn't be opposed to a winter league down here.
