Ya it sure is. I have a buddy there right now who's an instructor there at the Controller school. Maybe you'll see him on base in his red evo. Every couple weekends we'd head to Panama City and party it up out there. Pensacola Beach is gorgeous, or well it was. I have no idea what it looks like now since the hurricanes did it in. But I think you'll like it. There really weren't any local Dyno's though when I went there. We used to go to V&T Performance for our parts, but they never did get themselves a dyno.

Good luck with the Navy. I've got a few friends in there right now and my cousin will be done in about half a year. I wanted to join the Navy so I could travel and all, but I didnt want to be in there for 4 years so I didnt go. Let us know how it goes. I've heard both goods and bads about it. I wanna hear what you think about it when you've made up your opinion. Have fun.

AHHHHHHHHHHhhhh! SHIT! I leave Next wed!! Damn that came up quick! But the good News is I made it to E2 before I ship! Hells ya! Man Its gonna suck not have a laptop or cell phone for 8 weeks.. I became way to attached to this thing..

You're an E2 before bootcamp starts? Damn. Go for platoon or squad leader, you get to take showers by yourself, not with 80 other guys. :-)

Hopefully a ship.. I'm going to be a AM. Aviation Structural Mechanichere is a out line of my job.. AMs maintain and repair aircraft parts(wings, fuselage, tail, control surfaces, landing gear and attending mechanisms) working with metals, alloys and plastics. They also maintain and repair safety equipment and hydraulic systems.
As far as being E2 before I leave what is that I can take my E2 test when i get there.. I have to be recomened by my recruters first and they make me take a couple of tests first..
Brandon that would be sweet! I was hoping I would be done there longer and be able to bring my car down but its only 5 or maybe 8 weeks if i go for Aircrew. Yea when I get down there i should have my laptop right after and I will try to remember that.

Aircrew eh? Ready to get beat up in your survival/torture training? Sounds cool man. But ya, you'll probably see a red modded evo driving around base, with a rear lisence plate frame that says 4G63 V8 Killa . I gave that to him for an xmas present a few years back. If you see that car driving around, say something to him. Nice guy, tell him I told you to seek him out!

Marines. I was in Pensacola for "common core" then " I Strand" then "MATC (aka MATCU, you'll hear people pronounce it MAT-Q)" The first two I went to class in the Mega Building, which you'll see when you get there. Then MATC was at the Air Traffic Control school. You'll see the big orange radar, and the smaller green radars, that's what i worked on in the marines. It's all Navy equipment though.

oh man you will love the military! I love the marines. We get along with the navy a little bit. But then again I have only worked with seabees? and they are weirdos.

oh and it sucks that your a damn squid.
