Call me stupid but doesnt the Evo 3 have the same engine thats in the 1Gs(6bolt)?

The Evo was the replacement for the VR-4 Galant. It is the same DOHC 4g63, but I believe that the compression ratio is 9:1.

Well I thought it came with a 6bolt but the flywheel he has is a 7 bolt.

all evos are 7bolts the cd9a and the ce9a are the evo's 1-3 years 93-96
4g63 dohc with the 510cc injectors,16g,9:1,and have a diffrent ecu and engine harness than dsm's have.

front clip came today got it out of the truck in not the safest way but got it done. Got it in the shop on a lift and had it stripped in under 4hrs.
just have to cut the fire wall out and take out the cross brace fron the clips shell now.

How many more parts are you waiting on? Or you have everything...and its just a matter of tear down and rebuild?

still watting on the rear subframe and drive shaft to show up
also have a call to the co. sence the clip was missing parts that I need
most is the fuel rail and the 510's.

I will be working on it all day sat. I will probley get the rhd swap and 5 speed swap all done and might spray the engine bay flat black if I have time.

I will try to keep it stock for a while the only thing after market on it is the hks filter kit and ngk wires.

Way more will power than me. If I were doing that, it would be a monster right out of the shop. You should do a write up on this man. How is it going to get insured?

It is going to be more of a everyday car so I want to keep it mostly stock in evo forum.

As for ins. it is still the orignal car like all the others I have swaped. It will still be a mirage s auto as far as they will know.

Forget about getting a happy meal through the drive-thru if you're going RHD, unless you go through backwards.
