Congrats! I have always loved the Vmax. My father was looking at buying one a month ago. He went with the CB919 but the Vmax is still dear to us both. Yours sounds more badass than most!

I wouldnt mind having one of these, It looks like they have a nice design(sp?) and a decent amount of power for the time.

woah, why did you sell it?!? those old 2stroke triples also have a crazy exhaust note!

correct me if im wrong but they were just about the fastest things on 2 wheels during the years they were produced right?

Ya it was a very cool unique bike. I guess they were kinda like the first superbikes.

I bought it for $200, rode it for 2 summers and sold it for 1K. Thats why I sold it:D I'll look for another chaepie next summer. I've had a newer nice bike Tl100S and lots of old beaters. I like the little old ones more:cool: Althoug I would love to have a V Max. They have been bad ass bikes since they came out. And that was a long time ago. What other 85 bike is that cool:confused:

They had a lot of power for their time, and still do. Very few cruisers have over 110hp.:D

Thanks, I've wanted this bike ever since he bought it 3 years ago.

Now I just need to install the 3K Vboost switch and some VGas Carbs with velocity stacks.
