When I lived up there thats all they did is DSMs mainly. They had one Viper there at the time and that was when they were just getting into them. Remember their black road racing 2g? That thing was always there.

Anyway on topic, glad to see you got the dyno Swanny. Now just figure out how to use it to tune cars and make power.

Got that covered, thanks :).

Why did you get an extra retarder on the front axle? You could just run it on the rear bed and hang the car off the back.

Re: Its here!!!!

It was the 600whp fwd cars we were worried about steady stating. Also, we didn't want to have to drive the car on the dyno and move stuff around (like hvac), just becomes a pain in the ass.
Plus we needed the dyno for our 2700whp golf cart we are making, lol! :D
We are very happy with our purchase, so I guess he can be proud of himself.
I figured we could scream a honda to 10,000rpm with about 50lbs of boost and hold it there for about an hour. You can't do that? Damm.

The reasoning for the upgraded front retarders is simple. Our dyno is in the corner of our building. We can't access the "rear" rollers, unless we went thru the wall. There would be no way possible to steady state a 600+whp fwd (or rwd if we switched up the eddy placement, which would be dumb). We had the option and we took it. Sorry you don't agree with our business practices.

Grats!!! i will see with that mustang guy if he will take the Stalion down, if he does i would have to trailor it since he doesn't want to drive it in winter/snow/salt.

I was just going to call you.
Will he make 1000whp? I'd like to see this "straping down for serious" technique.
Give the shop a call when u get a chance.

Not to mention the fact that we also chose our config knowing a thing or two about driving styles that include high HP street and roadracing aplications.

If all I'm doing to a 30 psi honda is WOT sweep tuning, and wouldn't load tune...that shoudl tell you two things:
A) I don't trust my tune to hold up in real world driving conditions
and
B) I'm never going to know about, or correct things like part-throttle lean/overboost conditions

There's more to a car than full throttle and idle ;)

Can't wait to see the final product and who has the honor of being the first vehicle on LSE's dyno.

It will probably be shrep's probe. We need something fwd (hard to come by around here), Manual (we have automatics?), and N/A (wrong place to ask for that!). It'll be our "test" vehicle to learn all the config.
Let me snap some pics, shes all installed.

Beer couldn't handle the frustration so I went straight for the 100-proof.

Yes, that is why we own a Dyno Dynamics also. Sweep tuning is loaded also, if there was no load at all, then it would go from 2000RPMs to 7000RPMs almost instantly. In the real world, a 30psi Honda does not stay at 7000RPMs for 30 seconds like it can during steady state tuning either. On high HP turbo cars, you have to constantly fight heatsoaking of the intercooler and coolant. The real world can actually be easier on the car than what you could do to it on the steady state dyno.

I had the perfect car for you and you had to ruin it by saying N/A. You bastard.LOL:D

Hmmm, that thing is way smaller than a Dynojet. One would fit right next to my new lift. Hmm, do they finance? :D

They do finance.
