Thx Ju-on and S2Kracka, obviously you guys know whats up. (Ju-on did u want those lenses?)
Well i am gonna have to do just basic mods for now, my idiot brother got suspended from work, so now i have to provide/do everything. I should be stopping by LSE tomorrow afternoon, if thats alright. I have to pick up some redline.
Oh yeah, my car is a '92 AWD, 5 spd. Thats looks completely brokeass, just ask the LSE guys.
Thanks again will keep you all updated on "Project dsmstyle/stang killa"

I totally missed the DSMLINK on my list, I guess thats why I went home at 3pm for a "nap". My bad.
I won't erase my post, that'll show everyone what happens when you go straight to work from off the plane :(.

Update!! Well last week i did almost everything on the king killa, Cat Peala. All thats left is an alignment, then the car will be back to perfect stock condition. I hope to put in an MBC, shifter bushings (both sets) & K&N FIPK this weekend, along with a few other free mods stuff. I am waiting on 3" exhaust. Then i will be done for a while cause everything gets a little more costly.
Thank you all and feel free to stop by my place, if you are in Blaine this weekend (having peeps over on sat. and to view the Cat Peala w/new pinkyS10 susp.)

I say AEM, 61-67 turbo, 1000cc injectors&255walbro, 2.4L, big FMIC, good cams, sheetmetal, race gas on 30-35 psi.

You all know where I stand. It'll take that mustang down no problem even if you miss a shift. ;)

Why don't you just run against him at Rock Falls? They will let you do grudge match races there. Talk is cheap and proves nothing. If you win, cool... if you lose, throw more parts at your car.

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

i would not worry about your rims and tires right away and get some new pistons rods and some bolt ons.

turbotalon1g 03-18-2006 10:15 AM

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

If i can get some parts before Apr. 9th then i might run him then. I am pretty sure that i will beat the '02 GT 5 spd. He has just mainly bolt ons.

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

Alright, update, if u care or not, i don't care.

'02 GT dyno'd = 247hp 290 Tq
'99 GT = 257hp 301 Tq
'95 GT= by the end of the week

Now my new question is, i want my talon to be my daily driver can i get to around 450hp with a SAFC, obviously i am running into money problems. But i want to know can i get to 400-450hp/Tq with tuning on the SAFC and GM MAF? Cause i would rather buy the SAFC right away and start upgrading fuel too.

Thx again most of you guys are a great help.

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

Why the SAFC? What happened to DSMLink?

Shane@DBPerformance 03-22-2006 02:12 PM

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

With race gas or methanol injection and a decent sized turbo you can. If you want to do it on pump gas only daily, you might want to look into building a 2.4l motor, a big turbo and spending a lot of money on supporting mods.

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

yeah, thats what i had last time and it was real fun on the street, but i am talking about right now on the 2.0L and 14b, I am waiting for a B16g. But is the SAFC sufficient for 450hp, 2.4L, big turbo, supporting mods? I just like to buy stuff one time.

slowbubblecar 03-22-2006 10:59 PM

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

I would think you could get by with a SAFC and a logger on a 1g to get 450hp. The idle quality might not be as good since you would need bigger injectors, but you could have a chip burned for your eprom to make it idle like stock.

Re: Need to shut up Mustang buddies

Update: I just ordered DSMlink should be here by next monday. Waiting for some people to receive parts so that i can pick them up. and the '95 GT goes into Hi-Tech for tuning tomorrow. If i can get some mods by either the 9th or 15th then i should be at RF.
Thx all for input.
Aaron

Oh, yea,
not sure if i saw this in the thread or not,
but i suggest you change your clutch too.

With a b16g, i'm sure an act2100 would be fine. Act2600 if you got a strong left leg.

You don't want your clutch to start slipping with all that power your making now do ya.
