Yeah, you can be nice to every person that comes along, and pretty soon the adults leave and the kids stay. There have to be some rules or it just turns to shit. Is it so hard to ask for proper spelling, punctuation and grammar on a board that a lot, okay, some educated people read? :smoker: The reason NABR is so popular and the big wigs are there is because it's the tightest ship around. There's no whiney BS and stupidity is not tolerated. If your first post is "Hi, I'm new", you're booted immediately, no questions asked.

I have no problem trying to enforce good grammer, puncuation, etc...but there's a problem when you start ripping on a new member.

I just figure if one comment is said about it, leave it at that or leave it to the leads/mods/admins on the site to enforce the rules.

I can understand the new member thread being moderated... Most of what was said in there was uncalled for. But moderating off-topic threads and posts is really against the whole point of an off-topic forum. Of course there is always a point at which things need to stop.

Another big problem is the fucking assholes who think it's funny to sign up with multiple names. I don't know who's who anymore with newbies. I started like many of you. I bought my first DSM due to the looks, and now I actually know something about them and abotu cars in general. I owe alot of it to guys like Mark, Brian B, Andy N and Andy Y, Steve H, Shane, and a plethra of others who helped me. Soemtime for $$$ sometime for free. Always picked up something though. My point is there are so many now that thingk they are king shit and just wanna ruin it for everyone. This isn't your high and mighty tech club. I openly have links for the good shit and promote other places. It's a place to enjoy your hobby, learn some shit, and meet some people. Now the people who want to ruin it pick the wrong time in my life to piss me off and do so. For all I know fasttom is none other than Hughes. How many names you have left? I got rid of at least 1. Hell I deleted 71 names in 1 shot that where people who never posted and gave anything back to the site. I do this all the time to see what our true member base is and you know what it still grows! In fact I don't doubt that this DSM specific site based mainly out of MN is one of if not the biggest in the Sport Compact area.

So from now on, I will relax on the new guys a bit, the mods will ease of a bit, but still get the job done. Anymore double names and your gone. PERIOD. I don't care to hear another word on that either. But if a mod/lead asks/pms you about your spelling and grammer and it stays equal to a 3rd grader, I will personally point you away from here and to a 3rd grade leval chat room. So play nice, leave the admin shit to the admin/lead team, don't piss of those who have been around longer than you and proven they supoprt this site, and leave the Elite/SLS/QPR forums to be ran by those working for those companies.

I have 2 names, both of which are widely publically know...this one and LunarEclipse (which I have not used in probably 2 months, and after I made that one it became quite clear it was me in less than a day). Remember Ghostwriter or whatever it was Allan? Guess I'm not the only one who makes up a second name, difference is that I don't get mad when other people do it. If you really think its me making up these other names check the IP's, you will be plesantly surprised.

Must have to do with the cold weather...MN-DSM is turning nasty as we speak. Hill and Shindley are ripping into each other more than usual. It actually seems mean and hateful this time around. Anyway now I am going to have to go back to watching the decay of human society losing all their money at the Casino I work at. When I am ever feeling down about something I just go on the Casino Floor and watch people throw away everthing they have worked all their lives for.
