Re: New Parts

Mathmatcis.

Needed 2 parts.

Medium part to get the job done : $200.00
Preferred parts : $350.

Cash in hand $250.00

If he needs the car working properly now he made the right choice and Mark made a sale, which is what he also pays for in advertising his parts here on the site.

I don't see a problem with this application and the next person that says they do gets a vacation from the site. Nuff said.

I don't think you ripped him off. Hell I bought an axle for my 90 for $75 one time, just to get to work that week.
Colin is just being a bit 'antsy' today.

I have a full 3 bolt with axles and cups and the boots are new, sitting in my garage, if anyone wants it give me $20 or just offer to take it out of my garage.... 3Bolts are everywhere and are not worth a thing, definetly not 100 bucks.

You probably should have posted a WTB thread and you would have got a bunch of offers just as cheap as mine. Oh well live and learn.

Re: New Parts

Well, I would have posted a WTB post, but since I don't have 50 posts, I didn't feel like being called a retard and shit for having under 50 posts by you guys. Anyway, like DSMstyle said, who cares, I needed something ASAP, and I have it.

Plus, all the admins seem to care a shitload about following the forum rules, so being teh n00b that I am, I thought I'd follow them so I don't get banned and shit.

Re: New Parts

You only need 50 posts in order to sell not request parts ;)

Re: New Parts

Only individuals with 50 or more posts may use the classifieds to sell an item in any form....... blah blah blah.....

All rules apply to WTB ads as well. Be just as descriptive on what you want as if you were selling something.

Re: New Parts

I think that needs to be written a little more clear. Maybe something like "WTB ads need to be just as descriptive as the FS ads" or somewhere along those lines. Or did we agree on the 50 posts for WTB threads as well? I don't remember right off hand.

Re: New Parts

Yea that might have been a new rule that was passed, I didnt think it was.... I looked in the rules in the classifieds before I posted and there was nothing in the thread marked at the top of the page. Maybe I missed it.

It's been a pain trying to get to 50. I'm looking for parts too.

Re: New Parts

The point of the 50 is to try to keep the spammers and scammers out of the forums.

I sold a 3-bolt w/LSD out of a '90 Talon for $150. It happens sometimes.

It is a good reason, but it has been a pain.

You can buy all the shit you want, you just can't sell stuff yet. If the person that you are buying things from doesn't trust you then thats between you and them.

Re: New Parts

I also modified the rules for buying parts and WTB adds. Now back on topic.

Re: New Parts

In July i was looking for a 6 bolt timing belt cover, and I posted up asking for one. TKR PM'd me to let me know he had one. he told me "40.00 it is in good shape for how old it is" This is what I got.
My advice; if your not picking the parts up in person, get a few pics first.
