I didn't like that much, definitely couldn't do a whole bomber in one sitting. I normally like saisons and smoke beers, but it was a bit too complex.

Forgot to mention, Darkness is being tapped here on Thursday, Surly has officially come to Iowa and they have a bunch of kegs to start off with Thursday. Definitely going to be spending a couple hours at El Bait Shop.

Andrew have you tried any of the Toppling Goliath brews? It's based in my hometown of Decorah, but they are served at Zombie Burger last I recall.

I think I need to take a group of you guys down to Decorah for a weekend of beer, pizza, and camping.

It's hard to find Toppling Goliath in Des Moines, but I have liked the few I've had. I may head over to zombie burger, it's been awhile.

We get growlers of top Goliath at Casanova in WI. Real good beer. But I have to cut down at drinking at home since Aly can't drink till after NOV now. So it is drinking out with buddy's for me now.

Found this today. Has been said it was the hardest beer to find every year. Not many places get it and it sells out super fast since they get a case or less to sell.
Got 2 bottles today going to get a few more later.
Bells black note stout aged in bourbon barrels.

Today's find. Most places are selling 1 bottle per person of KBS for 6.99 to 9.99.
Got the 4 pack for 20.89 one for me and one for mike since they are in FL right now.

Cub foods on co9 in Plymouth has 2 bottles of black note left they got 24 bottles only
Lake ridge in Plymouth has the KBS 1 4pack per person. They got 6 4packs only
Both are very hard to find. The black note is the first year it has been sold out side of bells brewery in MI and 3rd year brewing it.

The blakkar is a surly,three Floyd's,real ale beer. Mike picked the three Floyd's bomber at there brewery in IN.

I had my first clown shoes this weekend, I enjoyed them a lot. Also, at Bricks in Blaine had Black Cascade, which I think is made in Lino Lakes, another good one.

Clown shoes does some really good stuff. They have a few barrel aged varieties that are delicious
