I am pretty surprised they warrantied this, it just shows that they acknowledge there is a factory problem and they are actually dealing with it. I am sure your dealer helped out quite a bit too. Congrats kracka! Hopefully you get it up and running soon and back on the dyno!

Thanks, and yeah, hopefully! I'd love to get it back this week sometime so we can still do the exhaust manifold this coming Saturday.

Yeah exactly. I really can't be mad because mistakes do happen and the car has a warranty for a reason.

Most likely tomorrow. Small chance it could be today...but not holding my breath. This is a mighty expensive repair bill for Mitsu though! Transfer case, fluids, labor, plus a rental car for nearly a week.

WOOOOOOOOO! Actual cost to Mitsu after parts, fluid, labor, rental car, etc. > $4,000! So happy to have it back after nearly a full week. The dealer also got a brand new transmission approved and shipped to them "just in case" so that was pretty damn cool too! I kept the stock tranny since it's perfect, but I think that was awesome of the dealership to go above and beyond like that.

YUP! He said that even if Mitsu corporate denies the warranty then the dealership itself will pick up the bill.
