Looking good, that TB is on my to do list. When you throwing yours on the dyno again to see gains?

The plan is to dyno every step along the way:
-baseline dyno
-dyno with ported exhaust manifold
-dyno with ported IM/TB
-retune

Nice! But...when you doing this? Just curious :)

Sex. I think I want this setup on my car. I had dreams of crazy 75mm TB, mega rev10 manifold and massive LICP but fuck, the simplicity of it is just a thing of beauty. Jealous!

LOL he *just* got them! Look at the schedule, it'll probably be a few weeks I'm sure!

Knowing him he had a date set with Cobb weeks ago, lol. I am guessing he has a plan already :)

The plan WAS to have Cobb do it all as they expressed interest in wanting to do back to back tests to see the gains of each change. Kracka went to talk with the manager over at Cobb this past Saturday and basically no good deal was worked out. I believe Cobb wanted to charge us for 4 hours of labor per manifold. Kracka didn't like that so much so we're going to be installing each piece ourselves probably over the next month or two. As he scheduled out, we plan to have a baseline run first. Depending on whether SPC (our local powder coater) can get our exhaust manifolds done by Friday, that's probably the first thing we'll tackle. If they aren't done, then we'll do the intake manifold and throttle body instead and finish with the exhaust manifold the following week. Then we'll do it all again with my car and see if the results are consistent.

That's the plan...at least for now. :)

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

Yup, Mondo pretty much laid things out!

I'm hoping to baseline this Thurs or Fri evening then get the exhaust manifold installed Saturday morning to be back on the dyno Saturday afternoon. If that all goes as planned then I'd like to start attacking the IM/TB the following Saturday. If, and that's a big if, everything goes smoothly and according to my best-case-scenario plan then testing/tuning will all be completed before the end of the month.

If anyone can get it fixed under warranty, it's Don. Don is the man you want on your side. Hopefully he will pull through for you Chris.

Re: GheyrodX - bigger, fatter, gheyer!

Eby (Don's service manager) confirmed the transfer case was overfilled with fluid and documented the fill and drain were untouched with factory paint seal intact. He also said this is the 2nd they've seen like this this week.
