Floor is in and with bracing on the back its more than strong enough to support my bottle. So w00t for bottle staying in the trunk.

Would you guys paint the aluminum and the battery box or leave it the way they sit? Half of me kinda likes the look but the other half wants to paint it black.

Hopefully tonight I'll paint some of the other interior and put it back together so it doesn't look like a tin can.

Your bottle is crooked ;) If it were my car, I'd paint it black.

Nothing is bolted down besides the floor, I had other things to do last night but because I'm a ricer I though the bottle in and took a picture. haha.

My only concern on painting it black is if it gets scratched up it'll probably look like crap and I'd have to repaint it. I'll still leaning towards painting it though.

Put some rhyno liner on it, won't scratch and it will be black lol.

What about some really really thin/light carpet to throw down back there? That way it looks semi stock, but can take the abuse of throwing junk on it?

I'll always have the hatch cover on when its on the street and have my crappy owdie if I have to pick something up. But that is a pretty good idea, i like where you're head is at.

I got some black carpet from walmart looks good but is really thin, thin where u can't see thru it at least.

Think I should paint the back of the Kirkey black as well? My dad was saying that it wouldn't stand out as much to a police officer if it was black compared to bare aluminum. I think he has a point and the less attention I get from police officers the better.

It's all a nice black now and hopefully will get time to put the interior in it this weekend and then just let it sit until warm weather and just driving the thing to and from work.

I want like %15 tint, but I think that'd be me pulled over even more. I just can't justify tint yet though, that money could be put towards making the car faster some how.
