Re: Getting the Laser ready for AutoX

I've started taking everything out to pull the motor. Kind of a sad thing really but it's time to move on. The motor is going into my Awd Talon along with all my upgrades.

All I need to do is pull the axles and unhook the oil cooler. Hook the hoist up after I find some chains for it and unbolt the motor mounts.

For sure. I'm hoping to move it quick too. If it was awd I'm betting it would be gone already.

The new owner came up today to get the shell:

I'm going to miss all the old memories I have of them. Mostly the first few months that I had it, back when I was in high school. It has caused me so many headaches though....

He's the guy that came to get it. He said it's for his nephew, but has built "many" of these before.

I'm equally as sad to see it go, you've had that car forever. Hopefully the new car is even better.

Three hundo.

Between this, and selling the NT 6 bolt out of the AWD, I have plenty to finish the car up. I just ordered an ACT solid 6 puck disc last night because I've gone through 3 discs due to the springs working themselves out.

Basically I ended up only paying about 300 for the 91 Talon AWD.
