Si. Cobb had it all in-stock, but has to take the turbine housing back to FP for porting this week, then next week I'm going to take it for ceramic coating. Installation and tune is probably 3-4 weeks out since I'm also waiting on a special coupler for my LICP that's on back-order. Not a big deal, I'd prefer to not be tuned when it's 100F+ anyway. Yesterday morning at 10:30 when PlanoEvo dyno'd the temp in there was already 102.

Awesome, should be a sweet setup! You should've waited for the release of the BB FP turbos but running them on 93 oct you won't be stressing the JB anyway :)
They announced yesterday that next week all the 8/9 turbos are will be BB on their website. |

It's not sounding good for the X turbos, that's what I was initially waiting for. FP told Cobb it won't be happening this year. Something to do with the test turbos not working as hoped so they're going back to the drawing board. CBRD won't do BB X turbos either, but will for the 8/9 guys. I tried and tried again :) I've been talking to FP, Cobb, SpecOps, and CBRD about it. But, if by some miracle they do come out within the next few weeks, I'll have them exchange my center-section.

Just getting ready for the next round of mods...

It seems like they're all happening in the 30-35k miles window, I just hit 25k miles today so I figure now's a safe time to replace them, especially with the new turbo going on soon. To the non-X guys who notice the price of the plugs, we don't have a whole lot of choices yet (three to be exact). Factory (~$60/set), NGK Laser Iridium (same plugs, different box, a few bucks cheaper), or HKS Racing (~$100/set). I also changed my transfer case fluid and rear differential fluids (yes, two separate fluids for the rear differential) again today. The old fluids only had 11k miles on them and were done about 6 months ago, but I figured no harm in frequent changes, especially considering how nasty it looked already :) FP should have my Green done in a few days so then I'll be bringing that in for ceramic coating, installing my DW800 injectors, and putting on the 3" Depo LICP. |

Oh yeah, and today I also got that Depo 3" LICP installed. I am actually very impressed with it, perfect fitment even with the stock airbox bracket (my AFE intake heatshield mounts to it)! This is one of only two LICP's with confirmed fitment with the stock airbox bracket in place, and the only one larger than 2.5". PPI's 2.75" may have also fit, but it's not confirmed and they said they've never tested the fitment with anything but their own brand intake.

No idea on colors, but they have catalogs full of product, some of which they had to get a special certification to buy, so they could probably get whatever you need taken care of.

dew want!!! I was asking about the injectors because i was unsure if you were on corn. Also I'm aware that ID1000s are a superior injector, they are the bees knees! I don't like any DW products, haven't really seen anything solid from them as far as pumps or injectors go. How much psi, you looking to run with this thing? |

No tuning this weekend, someone at Cobb had, from the sounds of it, a pretty serious personal emergency so I'm trying to just remember that life is obviously far more important than cars and not be too upset about the delay. I may still get the turbo installed this weekend and get it tuned one evening next week after work. Delays won't be any longer than a week... |

Can't you tune it yourself? I figured the dyno was just for numbers?
