Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
If the head checks out and has happened a couple times now, maybe the block needs to be checked out. Good luck, hope it's back together soon.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
Back to the 50s car show was last weekend. Got some new stuff for the car.
Same s.s. radiator hose kit I have I. The evo 3. Was 48.00 http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...psb7b1abb3.jpg New radiator same as a afco unit. This one is just a bit taller an has a cap on it. Will have to make my own lower core support for it but it is no big deal. Got the fan with it for free and got a extra 25.00 since it was the last one. Show price was 200.00 w/o the fan. Got it for 175.00 with it. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps6e07a85d.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...pscb1557dc.jpg http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps4aa80352.jpg Also picked up a set of thin wheel spacers for the set of rims I got as part of a trade. Just will need them for when I put on a set of brembos. Here are the rims I got in part of a trade. They are in good shape just need a good polishing. Will be used for winter rims. Sold an cat back for 300.00 and the rims. http://i122.photobucket.com/albums/o...ps545425af.jpg |

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
Nice, so gosh assembled it for you?
|
Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
He did since I dropped it off when it was cold out still and did not to do it in a cold garage since it was orignaly going to be a few weeks to get it done. But Owell I did not have to spend the time now doing it. All I had to do is plug the 5 extra holes in the block and slap the head on it.
Still need a few parts for it. Water pump Timing belt Catch can set up if the valve cover sitting on it right now will clear the hood Hood pins when I cut out the core support for the new radiator. Would also like to make a 4" cold intake to replace the 3" cold intake I made already. |
Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
And you keep stealing parts off the Evo to do it. That poor intake seeing another car.
|
Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
The evo will be rebuilt better than it was.

Re: after 10 years its coming back to life
