IM/TB swap was relatively painless. We finished the whole job (with an oil change as well) from about 8:30 - 12:00. Not a bad job at all.

Currently at Cobb (they have wifi!) and fuel pump was installed just fine. Calvin put that in a lot faster than I thought because I was sitting in the lobby talking to a few of the guys here and the next thing I know...I hear the dyno going. So I'll have the results of it all in an hour or so I'd say!

So just to recap mods for this round:
PPI Extreme Ported Exhaust Manifold
Mil.Spec Ported Intake Manifold
Mil.Spec Ported Throttle Body
Ceramic Coated Cobb Shorty Downpipe
AMSoil Air Filter

Numbers from previous dyno run: 343whp 358wtq

Stay tuned for the final update later! :D

Final numbers are in!

355whp and 361wtq!!

Overall impressions are that it's fantastic. You can't even tell that anything was done to the car, yet it's more powerful. It's not the super awesome numbers that Kracka's car posted with the same modifications but those midrange gains are just awesome. Money well spent!

Here's the dyno chart which compares it to my previous tune!

I suppose that'd be funny if it were true. The only shop involved with the fuel system (Full Blown) was responsible for half of the problems. The entire fuel system currently in the car was installed by me. There was assistance in certain areas by simulatedwood, scheides and Shane but I think it's fair to say that I own it.

I bet I know more than most shops do about the X fuel system.

Man, haven't updated in a while.

Well It's been more than a month with the ported manifolds and throttle body swaps. Car runs great! Still enjoying every bit of it.

This past weekend we had our Newb Modding Day and I got me some new tires. I picked me up some Sumitomo HTR Z III's in the stock 245/40/18. They definitely feel better than the All Seasons I had on before. I took a clover leaf much harder than I've taken it with the A/S. My girlfriend was in the car at the time and she was like "OMG Stop it!" LOL! Mission Accomplished!

Next up is finding a good time to put the car down for a couple weeks and rip the IC and Intake piping out to get powercoated. With the Dyno Day coming up in a couple weeks, I can't really take it down soon as I might not get my parts back in time. I guess late June is the plan for right now. :)

I got myself a brand spanking new MAP O2 Elim Downpipe complete with extra O2 bung and super awesome 3D Flange for an irresistible price. Thanks MAP!

Now I just need to find a time to take it to the powdercoater for some super awesome shiny metallic ceramic coating!

Nice, wonder why mine doesn't have that flange. Is that brand new?

Re: Deadmau5X: MOAR Mods 'N Stuff

It's a new option for an extra $30.

I love that downpipe, the 3D flange looks really nice. When I got mine last year it was like art, I almost couldn't put it on the car! :D
