FP4rs? those things scare me.
Your engine size won't really determine how much boost you can run, but it will tap out the turbo quicker than a 2.0L because of the increase in gas.

Re: Make slowboy not so slow

Indeed. As long as they can keep them in stock, these are the next HKS 272 (DSM) or HKS 280 (evo8) imho.

Re: Make slowboy not so slow

Not sure about the Evo version, but for DSMs there are apparently super tight clearances required, the valve stem seat height needs to be exactly matched to stock spec, and you need a basic spring upgrade to rev to 8k or so. So with the aftermarket parts, you need to make sure everything is put back in at factory spec.

Would be nice, but at least I know 3 or 4 of the pulls did make over 400.

Re: Make slowboy not so slow

After reading FP's site it does sound like the DSM 4/5R's are super picky about clearances, etc. The Evo ones were designed around the factory specs with enough clearance added into them to account for sub-par builds.

Got both seats installed thanks to Mark, here is a pic of just the passenger one in. They feel so much better than stock seats, the sides on the old ones were so worn out I just slid around on corners.

I like the new seats!

Re: Make slowboy not so slow

They are nice, just need to lower the driver-side bracket some, 2gs have such a low roof.
