Mini Update:
I pulled my injectors and fuel rail today. I sold my dw1300's to a dude on the national forums and now I have a boomba fuel rail to try out and I will also be picking up some bigger injectors. I am probably going with FIC2150's but if either FIC/ID come out with their 1600-1700 ones I will pick those up. Hoping to not run outta fuel above 8k rpms now :) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps75e96476.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps75f8fcf5.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps9ec62925.jpg http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...pse167e533.jpg Sorry shitty pics, my iphone died and had to use my old ass android work phone. |

FIC 2150's on order, hopefully they are here soon.
I have spoke to enough people that said on e85 they are actually pretty good aside from a rich idle sometimes. 93 they work but not well. So it's time for big boy injectors. Then I might need a BAP here soon too, so I might hit up Shane for that. We will see how my fueling setup holds up. |

Everything is back together with new 2150's. http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...psd25685e2.jpg I love the new fuel rail, but I think I am going to have to alter the return line a bit, it works but its a little iffy, too much slack. New stock black oil cap too to get rid of stupid one that fell off at the track. Now to dial the 2150's in! Yay...not lol. |
Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Looks good! I'd like to see what your car can do with those 2150's!

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
IT'S ALIVE!!!
http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...psdf40cc08.jpg Nice and rich idle now ;) http://i21.photobucket.com/albums/b2...ps1b6b3d04.jpg Jon did a few MAP's and got RAX logging working. I now need to do cruise logs but it runs now and stays idling at 840rpms. I might get some logging in tomorrow or I will just end up driving it to MAP this way Saturday for new install. I think I have a small leak near my regulator so I will look into that more, it was too cold though for now. |
Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Nice work!

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
You planning on bringing the car on the spring cruise?

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Awesome!

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog
Yep, very much so planning on it. I think it will be there, might not be able to fully beat on it but it will be pretty ready.

Re: Dave's Evo X Build/The Life of Dave blog

Dialing in the new setup will take a while ;)
And I will only have like 2 weeks as I won't have it back until then. |
