things aren't looking good for me. got the car back and it doesn't leak but the oil burning is getting pretty bad. so a little later I'm going into my work and double check that the turbo is still fine and do a boost leak test. as for dynoing as long as the turbo is fine i'll probably put a smoke show on for everyone

So, I stood outside in the cold-ass rain today to get propane tanks filled for the grill. I hope people appreciate those delicious grilled delights a little extra with this info! I'm fuking soaked.

as long as there isn't a ton of shaft play in my turbo I'll put on a smoke show for you shceides!

I think the reason my turbo smokes so much is cuz of the oil seals. There isn't any more shaft play than a normal BB turbo would have.

i cant wait to be disappointed at my base line for dead stock, except for a manifold back exhaust( no laughin at my nice red glasspacks hangin off my green car with primer either) lol

I see. I think my smoking is so bad because of the turbo. I pulled the intake to do a boost leak test and there was oil residue on the turbo inlet and there was some side to side shaft play and some in and out shaft play.

don't think I'll be dynoing anymore :mad:

usually around 1:30 or 2pm....you know, now that I think of it, your lil hatch would be PERFECT for the pull-off. Can we use it? Heck, maybe we should use it for name-dat-powa as well, what do you say?

Can anyone bring their torque wrench/21mm socket (deep perferrably) to the dyno day tomorrow? I need to borrow it to double check my wheels since I swapped out the lugnuts, and I don't have access to my tools right now. Thanks.
