Do you have a link to this video from Jack's about adjusting the clutch?

Well after doing some research I might have a bad master cylinder... I will call shep tomorrow and see what he thinks. Until then the car is going to sit where it is. Out of site out of mind.. Until I call tomorrow ofcourse :)

Well my phone died, but I seen you called again. Last year at Brainerd my car was doing the same thing. No matter the adjustment bleeding whatever, it would move forward when I bounced off the 2-step. I just held the e-brake at the light. If you figure it out lmk for sure. I think mine eventually fixed itself but I also had the tranny out 3 times in 2 months after Brainerd.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread

Well I started my new job yesturday and didnt have a chance to call shep so I just sent Jacks a email asking what he thought and am waiting for a response. Last fall I did a launch and when doing so the clutch felt like it was engaging at the floor so I parked it thinking the clutch was toast. When I replaced the clutch I then found out that I had a hole in my clutch line from wearing down on a moving part. SO, I bought a ss braided line for it an put it all together just to find out that its still doing the same thing?? EVERYTHING IS NEW except the master cylinder... New slave with extended slave rod, cutch line from master to slave, clutch, pp, everything except master.

Anyways, I was wondering if anyone else thinks it could be my master cylinder? Any input would be great.

Or a bent clutch fork? Did it look bent when you put the clutch in?

Damn... Just went through your thread. Looks like a pretty sick build sir. Now I understand why you said "Hey! There's nothing wrong with a 2gb red eclipse.", lol.

Clutch fork looked to be good when installed.

I ran a billet clutch fork and had no issues.

Jacks transmissions got back to me today and he thinks its an internal leak of the master cylinder. Good thing I ordered one up already!

Couple of pics of the car now. The hood has about 1mm of dust on it thats why it looks like that. and the tail lights and reverse lights were done by Primo a while ago just got them on. they look darker in the garage but there only a cherry tint and not black.

Re: GsXtUrBo98's 2G project thread

I dont know if I will make brainerd this year.... I'm waiting for my master cylinder and then I have to bring my car up to Primo to fix some piping and also to make my Tial dump tube...

Things I need to do:
1. Get my master cylinder installed and hope thats the problem..
2. Get my H11's installed
3. Wire up my BAP
4. Rewire my fuel pump
5. Get my intercooler piping fixed
6. Get the Tial dump tube made
7. Trim my front bumper and install
8. Drill hole in the back of my car for cut off switch
9. Fix boost leaks
10. Get tuned

There's probably more but thats off the top of my head.. I don't think that I will make it to see Shane and even if I did he is probably booked all up till proving grounds...

You may not be the only one, not making it. If we miss it lets shoot for the one in July.

I would have to say that a red car looks way better with factory untouched taillights. Hurry up you will make it to the MAP event!

I really wanted to make it to the proving grounds and my new job said that I could have that weekend off but the car prob. won't make it.. So, if the car doesn't make it then I might not even go.. I would be sad to see others race and me just sitting there......

Also, I had just told Rachel that if I didn't make it to proving grounds that I would try and make it to import vs. domestic! If I can get the time off... and the car is done....
