Having this site's name (one of them) on that car does nothing but discredit us in the eyes of the knowing. Them using it to try and legitimize themselves is stupid, I hope they loose their asses.

Someone needs to write up a flier that could be handed to any would-be customers. Nothing harsh, but perhaps filled with facts and then signed by a bunch of the people who have gotten screwed, and include their phone numbers for reference (assuming they will stand up and take calls warning others).

Your not helping anyone, and if you look at who is actually posting in this tread, there are more of you guys posting talking about jakes buisness than us guys who are actually dealing with him. STOP telling us to stop complaining, and realize that your the only one whos actually complaining on this thread.

FYI, me and j.t. went up to winona last night, we had a contract signed by both parties, but we will see if it leads to anything.

As I warned Brian earlier, I also got a contract from Jake when I picked up my car. That "contract" states that Jake will reimburse me $1000, payable between November and March 1st. I have yet to see any money from him. I'm not really holding my breath until any shows up, either. Word is, Jake is trying to get a large business loan. I really hope he does. Then maybe he can afford to reimburse me and get everyone else taken care of.

However, I wonder how much business he'll have... given his reputation.

Please everyone stop posting these remarks about his business. Me and Brian went up there last night. Drove from 10:00 am mon. got there at 1:30 am Jake was at the shop. We figured out whats going to happen. Making these remarks about his business isn't going to get us our stuff. He made some mistakes. He is also trying to straighten things out.


We will keep everyone informed.

It's not that were pussin out or backing down. We understand the situation he's in.

The point of the thread was not to bash him, but to figure out where he was and to inform everyone what was going on.

It's easy to sit at your computer and say what you would do in our situation.
Yes, he fucked up and misspent our money, but he is trying to make it better. We will know the end result to this situation by the 1st of march.
