I also didn't want to put my intercooler into Steve's rear bumper. A lot of the time I braked and coasted through the corner and didn't get on the gas at the apex.

lolz.

On that note, The "ylime" on Emily's grill makes it seem as though she expects to be slow.

Because it's backwards. If you look at it in your rearview mirror the letters are in order. But it doesn't completely work because the 'e' and 'y' are facing the wrong way.

Readable as "emily" from a rearview. Meaning you have to be behind for it to be read in a forwards manner.

Wrong, it's in cursive. Both letters work in either direction, visually.

Yeah, I was trying to take it pretty easy through Jay Cooke with the whole family in the car. Plus those rocks and some wet spots had me a bit nervous as well. I wish I would've cranked up at least the front Koni's a bit, it still seems a bit sloppy. I guess in addition to rebuilding the rear end, some suspension updating is my new winter project.

No problem, I did my best to have fun while keeping good distance from you and not push the subject and riding your bumper. Hopefully your family liked the ride, it was great to see them all tag along with you for some car fun.

Jay Cooke road is awesome; I am not sure if you guys went up the hill or down but at the bottom of that road when you hit Hwy 23 is right where I grew up, it's call Fond du Lac.

I remember doing the twisties on that road in a 89 Chevy Beretta GT thinking it handled great...ha ha. Once you know the road better you can really hammer through it, especially in the early morning when you know there won't be anybody on it.

It's funny, almost all the pictures taken I know exactly where you guys are, wish I could have been there. Looks like it was fun.

Hughes you should have taken up on Skyline Parkway, a lot smoother and way more dangerous.

Jay Cooke was just repaved last year; very smooth! Last time I was on Skyline it was really busted up.

Yeah, unless they repaved it at some point, skyline has always been choppy. I used to race across it all the time in high school and then around 1991 when I had a TA. The fastest I ever went across it was my dad driving a Vette we had when I was a kid and my sister and I riding behind the front seats. We were doing 70mph in several spots. I guess fun habits go from generation to generation. :spin:

I only glanced at my tach once entrance braking was done to know how far into the corner to open the throttle.

Well in Duluth you really don't have a whole lot to choose from; when I lived there Skyline wasn't that bad and Jay Cooke was, I haven't been up Jay Cooke in a year or so. I will have to take that way the next time I go to see my parents.

Shit I still remember going to Garfield Ave on my crotch rocket; there was a Stealth RT/TT there that only had some exhaust and a boost controller that was whooping up on all the muslce cars. The same guy had a 1G Talon with plates that said "ONLY4"; the car was pretty fast as well for that time. I had a GSXR 750.

Ahh the good old days; driving around Canal Park all night.
