TV's are measured diagonally. A 103 inch TV is probably about 90 inches wide.

But that is a huge TV!!! I bet DLP and LCD rear projection TVs will get that big and half way affordable in another five years.

God I hope so. I want Gran Tursimo 5 (or 6 or 7) to be life size...

I would invest in a projector instead of a TV that big.

I would invest in a projector instead of a TV that big.I agree. I love my Toshiba 61 inch rear projection TV. Why would anyone buy a plasma tv knowing it has a life span of about 3-5 yrs?

Is that still true? I was drooling over some TVs over break and was told by one of the salesman that the newer plasmas do not have the burn out issues that the older ones did. As for if that is true or not, I have no idea. Granted it is a full-depth TV, I love my Panasonic CT-30WX15.

Yeah, yeah, yeah. :p They also had 1 or 2 DLPs sitting there which I only wish I could afford.
