Hi,

I was just wondering if there would be any discount for the engine swap pricing if the tranny is already removed? (obviously the car would be towed to your shop)

Thanks!

....Probably. It just depends upon what got removed, if its all removed correctly. What year? what model? We could probably shave some $$ off it. What are you looking to do?

I am guessing this is the car in my garage. If so, it is a 95 FWD turbo. Tranny and pass axle are out. Suspension is apart, but will have to go back together to be towed. The engine would also have to be braced up somehow (probably strapped up).

Well since we usually just pull the engine and transmission together...$700 for the "in and out" instead of $750. Are we just dropping in a 6 bolt? Building one?

Not sure yet, for now I was just wondering...

Alright. In all honesty, it probably takes us 5-10 minutes to prepare that 'side' of the suspension for removal, including pulling the axle. Then it is 15-20 minutes TOPS (again more like 5-10 minutes, but we'll give you the rest of it as there are a few things that should be unhooked from the trans) to get the transmission off the motor when it is out the car :).
Let us know, Thank you for the inquiry.

Do you sell rebuilt 6 bolts? If so, how much? Or if I needed a rebuild would I have to supply my own motor.

Our rebuild performance shortblocks start at $2700 + core. We would like to get a good 6 bolt block and crank from you, otherwise there is a core charge ($300-500).
Obviously you'll need a head, longblock assembly, timing belt components, and all the other items.
