what are these 4 point harnesses then? and wat must you do to make them legal?

The Schroth is the only company that I know of that makes a street legal harness. Problem is they are a 2" wide belt, and that isn't NHRA legal from what I recall.

I'm tempted to swap belts in and out. 3" belts really suck for street driving, even with the quick release hub, they're always in the way of getting in the car. It's even worse now with 1-piece Sparco seats. I'm tempted to junk the center console so there's some room for the belt.

I think schroth might be the way to go. do I need them inspected after installation or what? got a link to any info, or pics of the belts?
