Well tomarrow Moroso is having there Winter Sport Compact Showdown.
I was thinking about heading up there today for there Corvette Challenge /TestnTune. would be fun to woop up on some vette's. But I at least have to stop up there to get the race gas today.
I'm hopefully going to get started on Tuning today. looking to start with 30psi and then moving on up to 35-40psi.
I just hope my coupler that connects my I/C pipe to my turbo holds together it continues to keep blowing off after "x" amount of pulls. I've already stipped 2 of the nuts for that clamp (ie: I have T-Bolt Clamps)tightening it down so hard.
Anyrate hope all goes well. I'm not sure what class to race in:
Super Comp - Brackets, Quick 16, or BFgoodrich Street legal,

BFG's you'll have to worry about supra's probably, and other fast AWD cars.
Quick 16 is 2 power adders, aka more powerful cars, and it looks like slicks are allowed in that.
Super Comp brackets, you'll probably be running rails dialing in.
Good luck!

Ya I was thinking about running the brackets as I know there are probably 8 or so 8/9 sec imports down here. that'll probably be going.
TPS will probably bring there 8 sec supra. And I've seen 2x9sec honda CRX's down here quit a lot.
Not sure if any DSM's are coming besides me. I know there are a few Mid 500AWHP cars that run mid 10's, and a 600HP EVO that's been running low 11's.
Hopefully they'll all go into the quick 16. I'm pretty consistant with my run's so bracket would be my best, but really I'm only looking for personal best, not to win. Which is the only reason I was thinking on entering a class that is just based on fastest times.
I really would like to go today that way I can get some Idea of what my car is going to do. And if my clutch is going to hold the higher boost.

If it doesn't, let me know. Pending payment, I could probably have a disc to you next weekend that will hold the power.

So it's just the disc that isn't good for the power? or will I need a new pressure plate as well?

If your pressure plate is fine, I can have southbend make me a custom disc for your application (its what we did for johns car when he had the 3767).

I used a southbend disk with my 2600 ACTpp. The southbend disk will have more grip over a normal street disk, and hold more power.

So John what did you do with your old 3767?
Also I might have to go tonight to the Corvette Challenge. It looks like it might rain tomarrow. (40% chance right now) and the clouds are already starting to form.
Racing starts in 30 minutes. and I was on my way up there but had to make a few stops first. Only got to the first one (had to get new sparkplugs) when I went to start my car it was dead.
I left my yellow top battery sit for so long while I was saving to build my motor that if I don't drive it every couple of days it dies. It took a little while to crank over when I first went out. But thought my alternator would build up the charge faster. I came back home to put it on the charger. It started right back up after 5 minutes of talking with Jenny, but just to be safe I'm leaving it on for the next 20 minutes.
If I go tonight I'll have to tune while I race. So probably won't be the best times if I go tonight.

Ok just got back from Moroso. Fill up on 116oct Sonoco and have a quick question. Is it like VP C16?
I ask this because I basically ran my car out of fuel gauge was way below empty but my fuel light never came on? Not sure what's going on there but it at least should be very close to empty.
Anyrate I drove home doing pulls, etc watching my EGT's seeing if it would go down. It went down a wooping 20degree's.
93oct - 5th gear, 3K rpm, 65mph = 1300egt.
116oct - 5th gear, 3K rpm. 65mph = 1280egt.
I know with VP my egt's went way down. I was going to stay out and tune but it's a race night and there were lots of cops out.
I did tune some on the way home and I think I have my car staying above 430whp (DSMLINK EST) for a lot longer then I previously did. On my 11.7 I noticed the HP was spiking up to 471whp in 3rd gear. But was very choppy.
It's now more linear. However this might hinder me. reason being It was peaking out much earlier in the RPMS where as now I have a steady increase to redline. I think if it peaks out earlier it would net a better ET but a lower MPH. I think I might net a worse ET but will gain a getter MPH due to top end.
What do you guys think?
