So my windows wont go up or down. The relay buzzes why trying. Now I have tested the connector and switch but those are fine, both getting power and sending, but the motor is not getting power. I was looking at wiring diagrams and they have relay's and fuseable links in them. Now the question I have is where would they be? I found the relay under the dash by the clutch pedal but I cant find the fuseable link anywhere in the wires. Anyone have experiance with windows not working?

95 Talon TSI AWD 5spd.

Thanks guys.

I actually when through a whole class in school about electrical. Check to see if the wire going from the fuse to the driver window switch is good. if that and the switch is good then you it is most likely the motor. go to the motor and plug a jumper wire from B+ to one wire on the motor and ground the other one. If it works then you will need to check elsewhere. but if the wire at the switch form the fuse gets power then the fuse and the fusalbe link is good.(I dont think we have fusable links tho. Cuz main power goes from the battery to the fuse box under the hood so it doesnt need a fusable link.

Where is the fuse at? Under the hood or under the dash. Every fuse in my fuse boxes are good though. That was the first thing I checked.

I believe that its under the dash.

I lost my cover so I have no clue which fuse is which. I have done some searching on the internet and looking in my Haynes manual but I cant find one that tells me which fuses are what. Any clue?

I just checked mine out and its under the hood. Its a 40A big square fuse.

I checked out a power window problem on a concord and it turned out that it was the motor. turned out that the metal on the motor was all blackend and it woulndt make contact. just cleaned it up and all was well. just something to consider. Plus why the hell you using your windows? If freakin cold out.

So I dont have to open my door when I go to the bank to cash my chech! :D Thats all I really use it for, that and talking to people if I pull up next to them.

The thing is both the windows dont work. Passanger or drivers side. And when I press the switch the relay buzzes. So its got me stumped. Oh well, I'll look at it better tomorrow, I'm to drunk to do it right now. Plus I'll want to go do some AWD shittys if I go to my car at this point and time. Thanks man.

If the switch has power, and is sending power, why would you think its a fuse/fusible link? Sounds like a ground problem at the driverside switch.
