Alright, Not a big surprise but im having problems with my 91 TsI...

First off I just had KcGsxRated Take out my altenator and have it checked, it was perfect so the internal regulator is fine, however i replaced the battery and it ran great for about a week.

Im not sure what is draining my charging system so much... at aleast thats what im assuming, im new to this whole DSM thing, i wanted a realiable quick car, turns out i should have bought a HONDUH!!

Oh yea i suppose i should tell you what i have done to it also...

~It is a stock longblock
~Big 16g
~ Race FMIC and piping thanks to JET
~ Full Turbo back 3" Thanks to JET
~ 255 fuel pump
~ 550's

Problem #2

It occured out of no where, I was driving to my friends house and all of a sudden I couldn't get full boost, it was like fuel cut, im checking all the intercooler piping but not sure what else to really check for... any ideas?

THANKS lot

#1 Double check your Connections on your battery and see that they are tight and clean. I was driving a few times when my car died out of nowhere. It was cuz the batt term was not tight. Also check grounds make sure they are clean and go to clean metal.
#2 Get a boost leak tester and do it up. that will show you your leaks. I got one at my house if you need one.

Check your alternator fuse in the fuse box under the hood, 1Gs are 80amp I believe. That could be part of your charging problem, or your battery is shit.

Is the alt. belt tight and in good shape? It could be slipping.

well i figured out why the car wouldnt start and that was becasue the alt fuse was blown. So i replaced that then i went to take it for a drive and i could get to like 3200 and it would start to cut out. Im thinking it is something to do with the fuel or maybe i lost a cylinder but other then that i have no idea if anyone might know what is wrong i would really like to know thanks.

So we replaced the alt fuse and it "Ran". Now there's a huge fuel leak some where, in 3 blocks the car lost a 1/4 tanks of gas, within a mile it we lost it all.

Which brings me to another queston what kind of gas milage do you guys get? on that tank we got 25 miles to the tank before it was sputtering... lol
