Lowest boost you get is 8PSI.

I seen many people ask whats the cars stock boost, and they all seem to vary from 10, 12, etc etc. Well for winter, took my MBC out, and ran a vacuum hose from my turbo outlet straight to the wastegate. and Capped off vacant end of the "T" between the intake manifold, and BOV. I did this to get absolute lowest boost possible. I'm seeing 8 in every gear. Maybe 10, since there may be some boost leaks past the turbo outlet, but I tried to do a good job patching it all up, so I'm sticking with saying 8. Just thought let everyone know!

That isn't the stock boost though, that is why the stock car has a boost solenoid in it. You see some differences because 1g and 2g had different boost levels from the factory. 10.8 and 12.5 respectively. That is why the 2g had more hp stock even with the smaller turbo.

I've always wondered how low my little 14b can boost. Never got any lower than 10, but that was with a MBC turned all the way down. Eight, huh? I wonder how slow that would feel on my car, haha.

My buddy's stock 2g boost level was 14psi.

It probably had the little restrictor in the BCS removed. That bumps it up about a psi. Those are published #'s too, they will all vary some.

Just double that 8psi, and you should double your fun!!
