Since the life of my car, I only opened up the timing belt cover once to take the valve cover off, to do my lifters. I didn't lose any bolts. That was like 3months ago. Today when I was driving I was hearing a winding sound like a supercharger, and even though it sounded cool I wanted to investigate. I concluded it was coming from the timing belt area, so I took the cover off and this is what I found!!!

Needless this had to happend, a day after I bought my airline tickets for vacation So have to wait another two weeks before I can get this repaired, I can safely say I won't be driving it, cause I rather have a belt to worry about, then a head.

Bolt 1, timing belt 0.
Good kill, time for a 60k :).

You must have dropped that in there at some point, it's a timing cover bolt.

At least you know what caused it.

Yeah, take that bolt out and smear some rubber cement along the bad edge of the belt. That should hold it together for a while. :D
