The offer to Hutch is awesome. It really puts Seattle in a bind if they want to keep him. Seattle would basically have to pay Hutch a $49 signing bonus to keep him. Shaun Alexander would have never had the season that he did with out Hutch. Ben Lebe wasn't a bad pick up either. I would like to see another linebacker signing but I don't think it will happen now.
On a SF sports radio show they talked about Julian Peterson of the 49ers getting some intrest from the Vikings. He's not a big dollar player cause of the limitied stats he's had with the 49ers and 2 injury season. But he's a monster of a LB and very healthy now from most of last season off. Could be a very wise and cheap pick up for the Vikes or anyone else since the 49ers look to be losing at least 3-4 of their staring DE's and LB's. This has been one crazy fucking start to the free agent days and actually is really gonna change the draft up as well.

I see the Vikings picked up the Packers kicker, Ryan Longwell.
why, do they want to miss even more field goals?

Ryan has his days, but he isn't the most ridiculous kicker out there. I think he got 2 million out of switch.
Pretty good pickups so far! Nothing ground breaking, but solid players. If they get Hutch, that could look like a whole new offensive line with Birk coming back!
A #2 pick for Daunte? That is pretty pathetic. At least we got him on his cheap end of the contract!

Yet another opportunity for the Vikes to screw up a draft pick. Drafting that no-namer a couple years back and then going over their alotted time was just about the funniest draft moments I've ever seen. Especially the no-namer pick. They had a fan cam at the fieldhouse. First there was stunned fans. Then there was anger. I can't wait to see what they have in store this draft season.

they did pickup williams a few years ago as a draft choice.
but they sure have screwed up their last few.
What was bad about last years draft? Besides, the coach is different, as well as most of the staff.

thank god he's gone! hopefully Brad Johnson can have a good year.
And now we got William Henderson from the Packers. We got 3 players from our most hated team in the last 2 years?? He will be a decent fullback though. I like how things are going so far, but then again I did last year too :P
