Look at AFE filters too www.afefilters.com
They are similar in design to K&N, but much better quality for not a lot in extra cost.
If you go with a K&N, www.4filters.com has them about as cheap as you'll find them.
LOL!
Yeah Intake and Exhaust (at least some better flowing cat back) would be a good investment.
The only thing I would like to do otherwise is new shocks as from my reading after 75k miles the ride goes downhill. Godo thing I you can get some nice shocks for $200-$300. Maybe next summer as the ride feels damn good as it is now. I won't worry about lifting anytime soon. When I do it will be a 2" lift and just a bit bigger tires. But that's after it's paid off.
bigger tires = less MPG

That's why it's after it's paid off. Then it may become more of a toy. Or just intake and exhaust and use it to tow whatever DSM I have down the road.

I def. saw improvements with MPG with the K and N. With that and exhaust I am currently getting 18-19MPG CITY instead of the stock 14.
I talked to my buddy and he said that his lift is fabteck parts all pieced together. when he got the truck he had 31's off of his old one but they wouldn't fit so he bought some 2 in urathane spacers for 70 bucks though you could probably get them better online.
he said that was the best thing he ever did and that you just slide them on top of the stock springs and you have 2in lift. He is still kicking himself for selling them and not keeping them to add on to his current lift.
There arn't too many great bull bars for them but you can get a nice steel bumper like the one in the pic you posted. moose wouldn't stand a chance.
If all goes well I will be picking it up today. Then it's off to Sams Club to load it up with some goodies, then home to unload, then across the street to the Gravel Pit for some pics ;)
