Ok, so is anyone going this coming weekend. I don't see any rain predicted for either days. I haven't went all year and now that my car is running pretty dam good i gotta get it to the track. I really want to go on test day because it would probably be a waste to do my tuning during the 3 time runs on Sunday. Saturday is $69 test day. Only one more weekend left after this weekend. Would like to see some of you guys at the track before the years over with.

$69 is kinda a lot of money to race for one day when the following weekend you can race and only have to pay $37. I'll think about it. Might be a last decision seeing I would like to get atleast 2 track days in with the rebuilt turbo before I put the car away for storage.

If you go but aren't running is it still $69?

This Saturday is the $69 test day. It's not a race day however they always have the Saturday night showdown that you could race in at the end of the test day for like an additional $20.

I need to go on a $69 day just for a solid day of testing. You only get 3 time trials on a race day sometimes more if there is a small crowd. But i went on a fun day last year where i only got 2 time trials. Race day is no day to be doing major tuning on.

That's the only reason that i can justify the $69. Quite frankly i didn't build the car to race it anyway. I did it as a personal goal thing and to share a common interest between my dad and brother whom also race as well.

Shit the last Fun Day I went to I got 9 time trials in and didnt even care to stay for eliminations.

On average, (for the people who have gone on Test Days) how many runs do you normally get in?

And no Tauni it does not cost $69 to watch. ;)

typically on a Full Day from 8am till you loose in Bracket runs - I get anywhere from 4-6 runs in a 10hr time frame.

Hardly a way to get consistency... You really need to be able to do back to back runs that way you can get into a rythm...

For the first time ever I had that happen at Moroso during the Nopi Nationals.. I was making a run ever 3 minutes for 1 hr. I never stopped moving unless I wanted to change something on the DSMLINK or let the car cool off.

Each time I went my 60' times where getting better.

I since went back on a Friday and once again I started off in the upper 1.9 60' and only got 3 runs in the 3hours or what ever it was that I was there. And my 60's never improved.

On the Test&Tune day at RF that a few of older DSMers went to a few years, you could have got 30+ runs in and still take an hour or more for lunch. I think I did a few hot lap passes, which isn't so good for the clutch.
