I need to know what the differences are between 1g slaves.
The car we are trying to get one to work in is a 90 FWD turbo laser. The tranny is supposed to be out of a 91 FWD turbo talon. I am not sure how to look up and purchase the correct part. I would prefer not do a guess and check since once a part is used, it's not usually returnable.
Thanks

There's a 13/16" piston'd slave for a FWD and a 3/4" piston'd slave for an AWD.
13/16" is what you need to know.

They are interchangable technically. The main problem is the location of the hydraulic line and bleeder screw is different. But besides creative bending of the clutch line, the relocated bleeder screw and clutch line can interfere with the motor mount and sub-frame brace. (FWD slave in an AWD) FWD accepts either slave easily.

This is for a FWD. Notice the bleeder and line are opposite sides.

This is the AWD one. Bleeder and line are adjacent to each other.
Don't forget to remove the restrictors from these before installing.
You would think the bigger bore of the FWD slave would be the better choice....am I right?
