ok, so, today i was seafoming my car, and hah, smoke comes from all over the intake manifold. i didnt seem like i was coming from the gasket, but it lookied like the runners were cracked, cuz it was just coming from nowhere. any idea on what to do? i also did a boost leat test, and i heard air coming from the intake manifold.

1G intake manifolds are a dime a dozen. If you need to replace it, finding one for a decent price should not be a problem.

You could have it tig welded but thats kinda pointless compaired to buying another one... I have one forsale if you need it.

same thing is happening in my cousin's talon tsi. Everytime he shifts at high rev, the car shakes. Don't know where it's coming from, but he told me that its between the throttle body and the intake manifold. He says that he and his friend put a little water around the throttle body and could see little bubbles coming out in between the throttle body and the intake manifold...is it boost leak??? i dont know.
