I'll give ya $500 for the car as it sits. If you just don't care why even post. Seriously don't come here and ask for help and turn around a bitch about why the car is down later on.

I'm venting.

Yeah I really wouldn't sell it. And if for whatever reason my car gets messed up becasue of this (I seriously doubt it will) I won't bitch here. On that note, I DID IT! I frickin' did the scariest thing ever to my car. I drilled into the head, and tapped if for a heli coil. Putting in the actual heli coil was a bitch because the kit I borrowed from my work has been worn over the years. I test fit the bango bolt (I even ran a die over the bolt, refreshed the threads) and it goes in like a dream. I put the line on and torqued, cranked the car, and I get a dribble of oil coiming out. Whats fix? Thread sealant. I'm gonna slather some Permatex thread sealant with teflon (we've all used that before) right now, and put on some new crush washers.

Teflon doesn't actually seal threads, it just allows you to gain a better torque advantage on the thread surface to hole contact area.

Oh. Well I used thread sealer, with teflon in it. To seal the thread. im gonna let it sit for a few hours. Tonight I'll crank it over.

Ya learn something new everyday. I still can't believe I managed to put a heli coil in right. Again, thanks everyone. Thanks for putting up with my shit ;)
