October 22nd Fun Day at Rockfalls~

Just got back from RF. I did not stay for the brackets. Left after the time trials were done. It was a good day overall, lots of DSMs. Jed hit a new personal best @109mph and I got a new personal best trap at 125.82mph. I am the world's crappest launcher (lack of traction and lots of water for the big V8s didn't help either). I was hitting 11.5s @ 125 all day with high 1.8 60ft. times an spinning tires in second. The car still has the original tranny, so I can't complain that much. Overall though it was a good day because nothing broke :) Here are some of the timeslips.

Well I was there too today at Rock Falls. Did even better than last weekend. Only problem was that i didn't have the laptop as the boss took it to Vegas with him to a convention. The only problem i'm having now is that i'll boost to around 26# in the beginning of a gear and it will crest off to just around 22.5# in the middle & top of the gears. I don't know if it's a boost leak or the internal wastegate. The run below isn't my best 60' today. I ran a 1.78 60' on a prior run. Overall I'd was very happy with my new personal best! I was shooting for a 11.99 but without the laptop, I was erroring on the side of caution with just a little palm pilot. Fixing whatever boost leak i have and staying at 26# will yield me the 11.99 and better. I made it to 2nd round of elims. That was gonna be my 11 sec run but I missed 3rd! I was upset. I already had almost a tenth in the bank at the 330' from my 12.05 run. 11's are there but it will have to wait till next year.

Probably Vassil. I never met him. He must have pulled out before i got a chance to meet him. I did meet Goat Blower though. I think Steve(Goat Blower) said he was running 11.70's if i remember. I can't remember though exactly. He was still figuring his new AEM out.

I ran a new best of 12.05. Not bad for a full weight 2g with very heavy 19" Racing Hart wheels and the 50 trim at around 22-23# of boost. I was tuned conservatively as well due to not have the laptop for the weekend. I use the laptop of where i work but it was checked out for the weekend by someone else. :)

Nah, I never even got out of the 12's, again. I spun badly through first and second almost everytime, but couldn't get the tranny into gear for a clean run. I did get my AEM race map massaged a bit, the power was there, but the tranny wasn't. Setting up the NLTS rev limiter probably would've helped a bunch. There's always next year, maybe.

No one runs consitant 10's on this board. I think shane got in 2 10 second passes, otherwise the next most consistant car is johns slew of 11.1-11.0 passes on his setup last season (again, should have been 10's, but drivetrain issues/tune issues).
