Alright, my friend is having a problem with his shift cables. We replaced the tranny in it and have tried to do a couple different setups with brackets and cables etc...

The main problem is that it's a 90 Rst Fwd... kind obvious but the year of the tranny is unknown... any ideas? we just picked up another set of cables and bracket again today.

I will try that as soon as I get it and the keys back from Qpr...aka whenever we get any word about that whole subject...

~Eclazon-RST~ Thanks for any help

You need 91-94 shifter cables and shifter assembly assuming its at least a 1G transmission.

The 92 shifter will work fine with the 91 cables.

The arm on the trans has to match the shifter/bracket/cable setup. You know this maaaaaaaaaaaan!

A much easier method that gives you decent shifting results is to just change the little 4 bolt bracket on the tranny. Install the proper bracket to the year car (or cables). It doesn't line up exactly sometimes, but it shifts just fine. And much, much easier than changing cables, shifter, shift box, brackets, realigning cables, etc.
